Workshop: Disaster Recovery Planning

Imagine that you get into the office and there is an inch of water on the floor. Some of your records and equipment could be destroyed -- what now? Though a real disaster may be less (or more!) serious than the scenario described, disasters happen all the time. In this workshop, you will be taken through a step by step guide to creating a disaster recovery plan for your organization. We will discuss how technology can help you be prepared and engage in activities to help you practice planning. You will be provided with some templates that can be the start of your organization's plan.

Registration is limited to 20 participants and ends Jun. 15. This workshop will take place at the Greensboro Self-Help building (122 N. Elm St.; Greensboro, NC - see map). It is open to all nonprofit staff and costs just $10 per person. This price includes course materials and refreshments. If you have questions, please email them to cheryl@netcorps.org.
